Speaks on NAFTA and trade
Canada's PM Trudeau is not the newswires talking about tariff, NAFTA, China. He says:
- US move on possible auto tariffs on even flimsier logical grounds than argument in favor of steel, aluminum tariffs
- Possible US tariffs are clearly linked to NAFTA talks, says cannot see link between auto tariffs, national security
- There is a long way to go before US actually imposes tariffs on autos
- We don't want trade with China at any cost, addressing security issues will be part of any relationship with China.
