What's on the agenda

Newsflow on Friday will be dominated by the G20 meetings but the marquee event isn't until Saturday when Trump and Xi meet. However we will be watching for any leaks about a deal or anything related to it.

In terms of economic data, the lone top-tier release is Canadian September GDP at the bottom of the hour. The consensus is for 0.1% m/m growth and a rise of 2.3% y/y. It will also mark Q3 GDP, which is forecast at a 2.0% annualized pace.
