According to report issued in Beijing, China’s Ministry of Commerce received 194 anti-monopoly applications from January to mid-December, an increase of 43 percent from a year earlier.
The ministry put 179 of the cases up for review and has finished 160 of them and withdrew five. Of the cases reviewed so far, the manufacturing industry accounted for 64 percent and information technology sector accounting for 8 percent.
