Speaks on BBC on Sunday

Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab said on BBC today:

  • Salzburg was a bump in the road, we will hold our nerve
  • Clear change was made very late by the EU in response to PM May's exit plans in Salzburg
  • There is no credible alternatives on the table
  • We have come up with a serious set of proposals. We are going to be resolute.
  • More technical notices for no deal to come out on Monday
  • Next milestone will be October council
  • Confident will get a deal, if ambition we've shown is matched
  • We need some flex from the EU
  • We all want a free trade deal
  • A Canada style free trade deal would mean staying locked in EU customs union
  • No deal would not be the end of the world
  • We will not dictate to in negotiations
  • A new election in the fall is not going to happen.
