Reports that Italy may call elections for Feb 2017
There's been a story doing the rounds from Italian Interior minister Alfano has said an election is likely in Feb (2017). It's being pointed out on social media that the Corriere article hasn't mentioned Feb 2017 but just Feb in general and it looks like some folks might have put 2 & 2 together and come up with 5.
The next Italian general election must be held no later than 23rd May 2018. The Euro has wobbled on the news that a quick election might be on the cards.
Perhaps we can't rule Feb 2017 out but there's some uncertainty around this story.
