Crude oil price up by about $1.00. Brent crude up also spikes
The price of crude oil has spiked higher on the back of a Reuters report that Libya has lost around 90,000 bpd from a blast on a pipeline feeding Es Sider port. NOC was still assessing the damage (according to sources).
A Libyan military source said earlier armed men had planted explosives at the pipeline.
The price of crude oil is trading at the highest level since June 2015.
