BRUSSELS (MNI) – The 17 countries forming the Eurozone early Friday
made a decision regarding changes to the EU Treaty, Cyprus President
Dimitris Christofias said.
“The Eurogroup has reached a decision on changes in the Treaty and
non-members are welcome to participate,” he told the press after the end
of a marathon dinner by the 27 leaders of all EU member states.
Christofias said that the agreement is called “17-plus” and that
the announcements will be made soon.
