Doing anymore than halving the deficit in fours years would put the recovery at risk, UK chancellor Darling.

Darling says that any change in the dollar as a reserve currency is unlikely in the immediate future. He says currency markets have been volatile for the last year and the the globe still needs to deal with imbalances.
