What's coming up on the calendar front today
Howdy, everyone! It's the final trading day of 2017 today, but everyone's probably either relaxing on a beach somewhere or having a nice break I assume. ;)
So, grab your wine glasses trading book because this is what's coming up today in European trading:
0800 - 1300 GMT - German December preliminary CPI data
- 0800 GMT - Saxony
- 0900 GMT - Brandenburg
- 0900 GMT - Hesse
- 0900 GMT - Bavaria
- 0930 GMT - North Rhine Westphalia
- 1100 GMT - Baden Wuerttemberg
- 1300 GMT - Germany (overall)
Preliminary inflation numbers for German regions as well as the overall number for the month of December. A rough indicator of Eurozone inflation sentiment, as Germany is one of the major nations in the EU. The data may not be released as per schedule, they may come earlier or later than the times listed.
0800 GMT - Spain December flash CPI reading
0900 GMT - Eurozone Nov M3 money supply growth y/y reading
Some minor Eurozone data. Nothing too much to read into from these numbers.
