2350GMT Bank of Japan Minutes for their meeting of July 14 and 15

There were no policy changes at this meeting, but economic forecasts were changed, so the Minutes may be interesting.

As usual, I don't expect the Minutes release today will impact much in the way of yen movement.

June (final) Industrial Production

  • for the m/m, the preliminary reading was +0.8%, prior was -2.1%
  • For the y/y preliminary was +2.0%, prior was -3.9%

Capacity utilization (June):

  • prior was -3.0% m/m

Tertiary Industry Index (June):

  • expected is +0.1% m/m, prior was -0.7%
