- British people should enjoy very low energy and food prices while they last
- Expects inflation to be very low over the next several months
- Should pick up towards the end of the year
It's a valid point from Carney and one of the downside to low prices. Everyone gets used to them and doesn't plan for when prices start rising. As soon as I see inflation turning, I'm filling my shed with cans of beer ;-)
