Sky news in an interview with European commission Pres. Jean-Claude Juncker is saying:
- we can have a deal on Brexit
- Brexit would have a catastrophic consequences
- he is doing everything to get a deal
- he is prepared to get rid of the so-called backstop from a withdrawal agreement, so long as the objectives are met – all of them
- he has sent documents to Prime Minister Johnson outlining draft ideas for a new Brexit deal
