This isn't anything new as it's been doing the rounds since late Friday and the weekend. EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier is reported to hint at a shift in stance in order to aid Theresa May push a Brexit deal through parliament.

In essence, it should be a pound positive but there is no official word from this yet and there's no certainty that even this will help May win over parliament. Either way, cable has slipped to under 1.3000 on the day with the bigger picture of Carney's wet blanket after the BOE hike last week weighing on things.
