There's nothing like been bright and chirpy on a Monday morning ;-)
The mood in Europe is as bad as the weather, well, the weather here anyway.
Stocks are getting trounced early in the day and we're seeing the run to the yen pick up a head of steam.
USDJPY has broken under 117.00 to 116.65 and there's similar moves in GBPJPY, and to a lesser extent EURJPY.
The NFP has all but been forgotten but the levels that were in place for that are still valid today
USDJPY H4 chart
116.45/55 is a minor intraday level that comes in ahead if 116.20/25, near where the NFP low came in.
Oil is also slumping after washing out any prospects of something being announced from the Saudi /Venezuela talks
Brent is a shade off it's lows at 33.36
Not a great start to the week and there's nothing inspiring looking on the US calendar later
