The gains here pales in comparison to what futures looked like an hour ago here. This comes as we saw a slide in US equity futures in the last half-hour that is threatening to cast a dark cloud over markets again today.
As mentioned earlier, there isn't much to gather from looking at European indices today as the main focus will be on US equities instead. Hence, keep an eye out on E-minis' performance in the hours to come. That will be key to gauging sentiment ahead of the US payrolls data later in the day.
