Slightly softer tones across the board

Risk is still holding a little weaker on the day but there is a bit of a recovery over the past few hours as E-minis are also well off their lows now, being down by 0.5% currently as compared to the 0.8% decline earlier. The yen is still the main beneficiary in all of this but it doesn't look like those gains will run away further until US traders join in the fray.
