Mild positive tones in early trades

Part of the gains are also attributed to a bit of catch-up from overnight trading as European equities closed a bit weaker before US stocks posted a late recovery. Overall sentiment today remains cautiously optimistic, with the mood here reflecting the mild 0.2% gains in US equity futures to start the session.
Looking ahead, I reckon markets will be in for a quiet one as we await further US-Mexico trade talks and also the US non-farm payrolls data release.
