EUR/USD has come back under pressure late in the session, weighed down by an acceleration in the stock slide on Wall Street. Shares are down about 2.75% on average with about an hour to go until the close.
EUR/USD dipped to the 1.2780 area before stabilizing. The market covered a lot of shorts late in Europe this morning so the downside could come a bit easier than it did this morning. 1.2723 is the session low while 1.2700 barriers remain a target, especially as they expire tomorrow.
