The dollart has taken on a bid tone across the board but traders say there is very little urgency in the price action. Asian central bank bids remain rumored at the 1.4150 level while small stops are gathering just below.
GBP/USD is helping lead the dollar higher as medium-term longs continue to trim positions. Support at 1.6585 has given way and stops at 1.6550 are with range. We trade now at 1.6570.
