Comments by European Council president, Donald Tusk

The pound is still popping here and this is mainly down to sentiment right now. Another hurdle has been cleared and that's giving some belief that we're getting closer to a deal although I remain skeptical of the jump here as I believe it doesn't change what this deal means for the UK parliament.

Sure, there are a couple of good things in there like mention of a free-trade area but once again, what about the backstop? There isn't any solution to the Irish border still and the mention in the text says that the transition period can be extended for up to one or two years - which at present, looks to be the case.
