FBI Deputy Director ordered the firing on Friday
It is being reported that the FBI agent Peter Strzok, who sent anti-Trump texts while investigating the Russian interference in the 2016 election, was fired on Friday. The 22 year veteran had been assigned to an administrative role in human resources (of all places).
The anti Trump text messages were sent to an FBI lawyer. That lawyer, Lisa Page, also happened to be someone he was having an affair with.
Pres. Trump has used the texts as a way to discredit the Mueller probe into Russian election interference from the Trump administration.
