Comments from Williams:
- Sees Fed continuing gradual policy of raising rates
- Comfortable with overshooting 2% for awhile
- Inflation goal is symmetric
- Sees Fed modestly overshooting 2% inflation goal
- Jobs report consistent with what we are seeing
I don't see anything new here. Williams has been more of a hawk over the last year and he will soon have a permanent vote at the FOMC. He wants at least 2 more hikes this year.
