Now I’ve heard some crazy schemes for producing new forms of energy and resources but I’m not sure I’m keen on this one.
The university of Exeter in partnership with a giant petrol company (“shock” I hear you cry). Has developed a procedure to make bacteria produce diesel.
That’s fine but the bacteria they’ve been using is a strain of E.coli.
God knows how much they’ll have to use to produce enough fuel to make it mainstream.
Of course it’s 100% safe and no danger to us or the environment. Now where’s my hazchem suit as I need to pop down the shops.
