China not messing around
Former Canadian diplomat Michael Kovrig, a senior advisor for the International Crisis Group, was detained in China, according to several reports.
"It was not immediately clear if the cases were related, but the arrest of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou in Vancouver has stoked fears of reprisals against the foreign business community in China," Reuters reports.
The exact reason for the detention was also not released.
