France CPI Feb final mm +0.3% vs +0.2% exp

Final French inflation data now out for February

• +0.2% flash
• yy -0.2% as exp/flash
• ex-tabacco index 99.32 vs 99.28 exp vs 99.07 prev
• HICP mm +0.3% as exp/flash
• yy -0.1% as exp/flash
• core inflation +0.7% yy lowest since Oct

The HICP +0.3% mm rise confirms yy -0.1% rate, the lowest in a year somewhat tempering the headline CPI improvement.

EURUSD finding dip demand again though as equities open lower and back to 1.1117. EURGBP also higher and testing 0.7800 again keeping lid on cable.
