According to German Economy Minister Guttenberg, leading German government officials have made good progress in talks on various “bad bank” models and should have a plan in place by the summer.
The official said “Different models will be worked on in the coming days. There are two that are still being discussed….to cover both commercial and (state controlled) Landesbanks.”
