VDMA reports that German engineering orders fell by 11% y/y in April
Of note, VDMA highlights that domestic orders are down by 15% while foreign orders fell by 9% on an annual basis. Relative to March, the drop hasn't really intensified all too much but there's a clear trend of where this is all going:
And that spells more trouble down the road for the German economy.
