German June Ifo generally better than expected

German June Ifo has come in generally better than expected. Business climate index read is 85.9, better than the median forecast of 85.0. The expectations index read is 89.5, better than the median forecast of 87.0.

The only slight fly in the ointment is the current conditions index which has come in at 82.4, slightly worse than the median forecast of 83.0,

EUR/USD is steady at lower levels, presently at 1.3870.
