German government says that UK won't get a bespoke trade deal and that they will demand UK pay for the privilege of its financial firms having access to the EU after Brexit.

This comes as UK ministers Hammond and Davis are in Germany to push the financial services case as part of the trade deal package between the UK and the EU.

Both Hammond and Davis commented on the matter here in a German newspaper - warning that the EU risks a financial crisis if they block a Brexit trade deal.
