The 7-day incidence rate also keeps lower at 15.5, so all of this continues to point towards an improving trend in Germany with regards to the virus situation.
As things continue down this path, expect restrictions to be eased further going into the summer and that just bolsters optimism going into 2H 2021.
In terms of healthcare capacity, there were 1,280 (-56) virus patients requiring intensive care as of yesterday with there being 3,895 (17%) intensive care beds still available.
