BERLIN (MNI) – Germany’s Economy Minister Philipp Roesler announced
Wednesday that he will travel to Greece on August 15 with a German
business delegation in order to facilitate German investments in the
fiscally ailing country.
Another trip with a larger business delegation is scheduled for
October, Roesler told journalists after a meeting with Germany’s main
business and industry associations.
The best chance for a quick increase of German investments in
Greece is the renewable energy sector, Roesler said. There are only a
few bureaucratic hurdles for German investors in that sector of the
Greek economy, he said.
