Germany’s Economy Minister Guttenburg feels the German economy won’t be out of trouble this year.
Meanwhile Soros is still very cautious on Eastern Europe. In further comments he has opined that Latvia, Lithuania and even Estonia have “serious problems” while Ukraine teeters on the verge of default. These further comments kind of dilute any advantage of the earlier ones.
EUR/USD is fractionally higher at 1.3465.
