Germany's foreign minister, Heiko Maas, speaks to the FT
- Says that another delay would signal UK plans to stay in the EU after all
- UK will have to decide what they want by October
- Says "you cannot drag out Brexit for a decade"
This suggests that Germany is taking a harder line on the Brexit debate, similar to what has been preached by France prior to this. That being said, we've seen this talk before back in early March and also two weeks' back. So, it's hard to draw any conclusions from his comments really.
