Spanish economic minister Luis de Guindos bemoans a lack of global activity

On the growth front, Spain has been the shining light and he's tipped them to have a good Q2. He's also thrown his hat into the ring for the position at the head of the Eurogroup, currently held by Dijsselbloem. He's no doubt making himself busy for that role at the moment

  • Says he sees economic growth of at least 0.9% in Q2 (EZ)
  • Spain can grow 2.5%-3.0% for the next five years
