Angel Merkel’s coalition gvoernment took a blow in Bavarian state elections Sunday, suffering a staggering defeat by its affiliated CSU partners.Things are not rosy in Germany (or for the matter in Austria) where the more extreme right easily defeated centrist and leftist parties.
