Looks all over for New Democracy
Greece's Mega TV with the early election result news as 7.9% off votes counted gives an inkling of how things are going to finish. ND leader Meimarakis throws in the towel early and Syriza are expected to get 143-145 seats. That was just over an hour ago
The latest numbers suggest Syriza finishing with 35.5% of votes and ND with 28% (75 seats). That's from the interior ministry
A Syriza party source says that they will look again to the right-wing Independent Greeks party to form a coalition
Bar any last minute shocks it's going to be 'as you were' for Greece. I don't think there will be much market reaction at the open later but we could see some small relief buying
