North Korea says they will make an announcement at 1230 Seoul time, which is 0330 GMT. Yesterday, they blasted the "highest ever" ballistic missile that landed about 250km off the northern coast of Japan. It did not cross over Japan land.
The BBC reported that estimates by Japanese and US experts suggest if fired on a normal trajectory the ballistic missile could have reached Washington DC. Not my math...
This missile reached an altitude of 4,500 km and flew 960 km according to So Korea's military.
