HSBC's global head of currency strategy is still a big fan of the greenback
I always like watching David Bloom's interviews. He may be a bit rough around the edges but he's very direct to the point and the interactions are always interesting. The points he make in the interview here is mainly the same thing that he has highlighted last year in another Bloomberg interview here.
In short, he still believes that the dollar trade is 'beautiful' and EUR/USD remains 'the greatest carry trade in the world'.
