Any man who can admit he is wrong without having it first pointed out to him by a woman is a good man in my book and the UK Chancellor Alistair Darling gets my thumbs up for doing so today. In this article in the UK Telegraph he admits they made mistakes and urges other ministers to show the humility required to admit their mistakes also.

I am sure that somewhere in psychology teaching they tell you something about having to admit ownership of a problem in order to overcome it…well in my mind this is similar, lets everyone put their hands up, admit to their mistakes and make a damn long list of all the things they would do differently and lets get this mess sorted out and put measures in place so that it does not occur again.

This is NOT the time for the blame game and finger pointing, it is time for ownership, admission, and working towards a solution.
