Italy's Padoan laying the blame off to the EU
Italy's finance minister Pier Carlo Padoan says that the uncertainty over their request for budget flexibility is undermining growth.
That's the request for leeway in rules that the EU has set, which have been largely flouted by countries such as Italy.
And now it's going to be the EU's fault that Italian growth will fail (causing more misses of budget targets) because they're undecided on whether to allow Italy to break the rules.
