Istat comments in its monthly report
- Leading indicator showed a decline again in March, but less than in February
- That suggests a possible change of trend compared to contraction in recent months
Right, some gentle optimism there but I'll believe it when I see it translate to GDP growth figures. With Italy reportedly set to slash its growth forecast for 2019 to 0.1%, I'm not going to hold high hopes of an economic recovery in the country.
