ITALY DATA: 4Q final GDP rose 0.1% q/q and 1.5% y/y, after rising
0.3% q/q in the 3Q, as exports, capital investments and domestic
demand grew. The q/q data was confirmed from preliminary figures
while the y/y was revised up (preliminary 4Q: +0.1% q/q +1.3% y/y).
–Net exports subtracted 0.8 points to q/q growth, while Private
Consumption and Inventories contributed 0.1 and 1.0 points.
Government Consumption and Capitol Investments subtracted 0.1 and
0.1 points respectively to q/q growth.
–The 4Q result gives a growth platform of +0.4% for 2011, ISTAT said.
