ITALY DATA: Italy’s general government deficit stood at 5.1% of GDP
at the end of the third quarter of 2010, compared with 5.5% in the first
nine months of 2009, according to data released by national statistics
institute ISTAT. The data differ from the annual forecast provided by
ISTAT according to Maastricht paramenters as they exclude the effect of
swap operations.
