Japan chief cabinet secretary Suga says the economy is beginning to bottom out

Commenting after the Tankan report earlier today:

Note the large manufacturing and non-manufacturing indexes were lower for the 6th and 4th consecutive quarter, so Suga may well have a point saying the coronavirus impacted, but the weakness as evident well before also.
