Japan has cut its assessment of exports in January for the first time in three months
- Citing the trade war between the United States and China
- Last month it said exports had flattened
- "We need to keep in mind that there is uncertainty about how trade disputes and China's economic outlook will affect the global economy" the report said
Cabinet Office left unchanged its overall assessment that the economy is in gradual recovery
