JAPAN DATA: Industrial production may post the first month-on-month
fall in two months, down 0.8% in November, after +2.2% in October and
-3.3% in September, according to the median forecast of analysts
surveyed by Market News International. Economists attributed the
expected November drop to slowing in overseas economies amid the
European sovereign debt crisis, the strong yen and flooding in Thailand.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will release the data at
0850 JST on Wednesday, Dec. 28 (2350 GMT Tuesday).
