Latest data released by Japan's Department Store Association - 22 June 2018
- Tokyo department store sales +1.3% vs +1.9% y/y prior
Data was scheduled for release at 0530 GMT but it is out earlier than expected. A general take of retail activity and consumer patterns in the Japanese economy for the month of May. All this of course feeds into the retail sales figures that will be released on 28 June next week.
