S&P 500 opens lower
US stocks have been on a fantastic run of 8 days of gains since March 27. The cumulative gain has been 3.2%.
Stocks are lower shortly after the open today with the S&P 500 down 16 points to 2879. Oil is part of the story but aviation is the main drag after Trump threatened tariffs on the EU to retaliate for financial support of Airbus.
