09:30 GMT BOE inflation report published and Mervyn King gives press conference. Wouldn’t it be nice if Merve the Swerve actually said something to support sterling for a change. Guess they don’t want it getting too strong though.
Caution ahead of King will have helped take steam out of sterling rally for time being, cable back down around 1.4990 from session high 1.5044.
