New York Attorny Gerneral Cuomo is entering the BOA/Merrill fray saying that he has “uncovered facts that raise questions about the Tarp program, as well as corporate governance and disclosure practices at Bank of America” and that Federal officials pressured Bof A not to seek to rescind the merger agreement. It looks like a huge can of worms to me which we haven’t heard the last of.
Eur/Usd didn’t like the downside even though the Dow is in negative territory. That is both sides attempted today so I’d look for a dull sideways range for the rest of NY trading today. Eur/Usd currently stands at 1.3060 as Cable pushes higher to 1.4630.
